We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to find us a competent contractor for our renovation project. We signed up and advertised our requirements, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

We are extremely disappointed with Checkatrade and would urge read more using their website. There are more reliable alternatives out there. We feel sorry for having wasted our money on this useless service.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade favors their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you trust Checkatrade. Their whole operation is designed to take your money. They promise the world but they barely anything. You'll be left in a pickle and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It all starts with their sneaky costs, which they hide in the legalese. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to get your money back, but it's like pulling teeth.

Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?

We thought we were doing the right choice by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so reliable with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Right away, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to talk about the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up getting ripped off by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling frustrated and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.

My experience with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I booked a trader through their platform to complete some essential home repairs. They seemed legitimate at first, but it ended up a appalling ordeal.

Although I paid the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Communication became impossible. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.

Checkatrade has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They laughed at my plight. It feels like I've been taken advantage of.
